What changes were made to FMP Chocolate Super Fuel (2023)?

FMP SUPER FUEL CHOCOLATE 2023 UPDATES

–  Message from the desk of Dr. Anthony Balduzzi + The FMP Support Team –

We have some important & exciting updates to share with you today! Over the past few months, we’ve been quietly working on improving our FMP SUPER FUEL formula. We evaluate the formula every year to see where we can make it even better, because we are committed to excellence for you in our supplement and programs. Most importantly, we kept the same amazing taste that you love about SUPER FUEL and we decided to update the formula in the following ways:

1) We added 3 new digestive enzymes to every scoop (Papain, Bromelain, and Protease).

These enzymes are super helpful for your health. These enzymes improve your digestion and the special enzyme Bromelain is proven to also reduce inflammation in your body. Although SUPER FUEL is already very easy to digest, the addition of these enzymes will further improve the bioavailability of the key amino acids making it even better for energy, recovery, and metabolism support.

2) We improved the probiotic blend by adding in 4 research-proven probiotic strains (Lactobacillus subtlis, L. acidophilus, L. plantarum, and L. bulgaricus).

Although we already had probiotics in SUPER FUEL, we decided to increase the amount of probiotics and add in these 4 specific strains that are research-proven to improve your metabolic health, immune strength, and promote healthy digestion. All of these goals align completely with the design of SUPER FUEL, so we feel these new probiotics are a perfect addition to our beloved SUPER FUEL formula.

3) We increased the amount of B vitamins in each scoop by adding Biotin for hair health.

  • We added Biotin to the formula, which is an essential B-vitamin that helps with hair loss. We figured this was a nice benefit as Biotin is also helpful for energy and skin health too.
  • All other B-vitamin levels stayed the same [Vitamin B12 (aka methylcobalamin), Vitamin B3 (aka Niacin), B2 (riboflavin) and B1 (thiamine)].

4) The new CHOCOLATE WHEY formula has a 1g decrease in fats, a 3g increase in dietary fiber, a 0.5g increase in protein per scoop, and a 2g increase in sugar (naturally occurring sugar in whey concentrate protein) - yielding  ~20 extra calories per scoop (from 100 to 119 calories).

We are happy about the addition of the fiber to SUPER FUEL as dietary fiber is helpful for healthy cholesterol levels, heart health, and optimal digestive function. In our future manufacturing runs of SUPER FUEL, we will work on reducing the sugar per scoop by 1-2g by looking at different sourcing of whey protein and increasing the amount of whey isolate in each scoop. It’s important to note that SUPER FUEL has ZERO artificial sweeteners while tasting amazing, which we believe is very important for a product you take very often.

Other small changes worth mentioning:

  • Magnesium slightly increased from to 15mg
  • Sodium slightly increased to 98mg (the RDA is 2000+mg)

We are excited about these updates and our continual commitment to keep SUPER FUEL as the best protein product for our community. And this is one small step in us continuing to deliver the absolute best products, supplements, programs, and experiences to you as a beloved member of our community.

We are very grateful to have YOU in our FMP Sisterhood!
