One Singular Weight vs. Multiple Weights for the Apex10

Do I use one singular weight or multiple weights when completing the Apex10?

Either option can actually work very well when performing the Apex10 as there are arguments to be made for both sides of the coin. Read on to determine which options makes the most sense for you.
Longer Answer:
Whether using 1 dumbbell/kettlebell or 2 dumbbells/kettlebells, members sometimes ask if they should use the same weight or various weights throughout the 5 movements. There are pros/cons to each argument so see below and decide for yourself!
One Singular Weight (1 or 2 DBs/KBs)
Pros: Seamless transition between movements; Less equipment required; Track progress as a whole
Cons: Shortchange stronger/larger muscle groups; Sloppy form for weaker/smaller muscle groups
Multiple Weights (Various DBs/KBs)
Pros: Adequately challenge each muscle group independent of others; Better form regardless of muscle grouping; Track progress per muscle group
Cons: More equipment required; Inadvertent rest periods; Choppier transition between movements
The bottom line is that the right answer is the option that allows you to complete the routine more effectively and consistently. That takes precedence over everything else.
